  • Licensed and independent

Licensed by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion and listed on Oman’s register of auditing offices. Independence is the basis of an opinion worth relying on.

  • Current on Omani regulation

Fawtara e-invoicing, the Personal Income Tax arriving in 2028, the domestic minimum top-up tax. We work at the front of what is changing, not behind it.

Answers

Questions Omani businesses ask us

Does my company legally need a statutory audit in Oman?

It depends on your company's grade under Oman's reformed Commercial Companies Law. Grade 1 entities, large enterprises and listed companies, require a mandatory independent external auditor along with a full board committee structure and enhanced related-party disclosure. Grade 4 entities, typically micro and small businesses under ten employees, file simplified annual returns and are not required to maintain an audit committee. If you are unsure which grade applies to you, we will confirm it before quoting.

When do we need an independent business valuation?

Whenever a number needs to survive challenge by someone with an opposing interest, a sale or purchase, a shareholder entering or exiting, a dispute, a restructuring, or a financing round. An internally prepared figure is fine for planning but rarely holds up in negotiation.

When does e-invoicing become mandatory in Oman?

Oman's national e-invoicing system, Fawtara, is being introduced in three phases. Phase 1 began in August 2026 with roughly 100 to 150 of the largest VAT-registered taxpayers, individually notified by the Oman Tax Authority. Phase 2 extends to all other large taxpayers in February 2027. Phase 3 extends to all remaining VAT-registered businesses, including SMEs, in August 2027. The Tax Authority publishes a self-check tool where you can enter your VAT identification number to see which phase applies to you.

Is outsourcing accounting appropriate for a small company?

Frequently it is the better option. A small business rarely generates enough work to justify a qualified full-time accountant, but still needs qualified work done. Outsourcing gives you the competence without the headcount, and removes the key-person risk of one internal person holding the whole finance function.
