Hayat Auditors and Management Consultancy SPC is a licensed audit and advisory practice in the Sultanate of Oman. This page sets out our regulatory standing and compliance obligations.

Licence and registration

  • Licensed by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MOCIIP).
  • Registered under the Professional Laws of the Sultanate of Oman.
  • Listed on the official Omani register of accounting and auditing offices (licensed).
  • Practising in the Governorate of Muscat.

Our full registration references (licence, commercial registration, VAT and tax card numbers) are held on file and provided to clients and counterparties on request during onboarding and due diligence.

Regulators and bodies

  • MOCIIP licenses audit firms and individual auditors in Oman.
  • Oman Association of Accountants and Auditors (OAAA) is the professional body auditors register with. [confirm: Hayat's OAAA registration reference, once supplied.]
  • Listed-company audit work in Oman is additionally overseen by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). We do not hold ourselves out as accredited for such work unless separately confirmed.

International association

Hayat is an independent member of PrimeGlobal, an association of independent accounting and business advisory firms. Member firms remain independently owned and operated and are not agents of one another. See ourInternational Network page.

Anti-money-laundering (AML/CFT)

As a licensed audit and advisory firm, Hayat is a designated non-financial business and profession under Oman's Anti-Money-Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism Law (Royal Decree 30/2016). We apply customer due diligence, including identity verification and, where required, source-of-funds checks, and we meet our reporting obligations to the competent authority.[confirm: any AML registration reference Hayat wishes to publish.]

Professional confidentiality

Confidentiality is a core value of the firm and a professional obligation binding on us under Omani professional law. It applies to all client information without exception.
